I woke up “tossing cookies” this morning! It’s in the mid-upper 90’s outside and I am freezing inside with full length flannel nitey on under heavy cotton blanket. So no cloths today.

My midle son called me this morning. He kept hinting at wanting me to make him a new beanie by repeatedly telling me how the last one is nearly worn out!!! His 20th bday is next month so I decided to knit him a new beanie. I am doing my own made-up version of a beanie I saw in “Not Just More Socks”, called “Jughead“. To the left is my progress so far, two of the 8-10 pointsl

It’s the beginning of day #10 in my personal challange of the goal of 45 Cloths in 29 Days.

This cloth #16 in the challange. I have 19 days, after today, and only 29 cloths to go!

These are the three cloths that I finished yesturday. I didn’t post them then because it was Erchin’s 16th birthday.

After doing so many cloths for gifts, even more for cloth stash, I wanted to do something for myself.

So I dug out the last hank of yummy cotton yarn for cloths that my SP8 pal had sent me. I then got the calendar she sent (in the same package), and looked at the pattern for my birthday-April 7th-and created a pattern based on that. Bellow is the resulting wash cloth, I just love it! Thank
you again SP8!!!

If you are a member of the yahoo group Dishcloths, the pattern for this beauty was posted in the files. Look for it there if interested in doing it. If you’re not a member and love doing dish/wash cloths, join!

I talked to dh tonight, the plastic surgeon still has NOT been in to see him! It has been nearly 3 weeks since that jerkoff has been in, and it’s realy ticking me off!
Last night, when I talked to dh, he said that the attending doctor had been in. He said that the attending said it would deffinately be later this week when he gets to come home. The problem with this statement is that all three doctors–plastic surgeon, infectious diseases doctor, and the attending–have to agree to release dh. If the plastic surgeon doesn’t come in, well then dh has to stay. {If he leaves AMA (against medical advice) then he risks the insurance not paying, not being approved for disability, etc.}

Take Care. I hope to post again, atleast once!, tomorrow.

Here’s another cloth done, well sort of. It won’t be done until I get some netting to weave in and out of the openess of the lace, that way this will become a potscrubber. But it’s as done as I can get it for now. It’s an “AFO” Almost Finished Object.

This is dh just a few minutes after the attending physician came in last thursday and said if all continues going well, he hopes to be sending dh home later this week! Possible draw backs: the plastic surgeon still has NOT come in to remove stitch and has been due for nearly two weeks now to do so; none of the other doctors involved can seem to get the plastic surgeon to “share” his treatment plan with either them or dh; plastic surgeon is a jurk.

Notice the beard? DH said it waste of time trying to shave while in hospital, so he stopped. I am trying to convince him to keep the beard when he gets out…I like it….I like it alot…I realy LIKE the beard!!!

Here’s the latest one. It was a close call as I did NOT have enough yarn to do another two rows (pattern repeat) when I bound off this one! Whew, I did it just right…no frogging involved.

For those who are counting, and I know you’re out there!, it’s number 10 cloth in 7 days.

Here it is, The Slip Stitch Rib cloth. Tired of looking at my dish/wash cloths yet? You probably will be by the time I get done with them! lol!

This is the most recent dish/wash cloth in my effort to knit them at the average rate of one per day. I am using the perpetual calendar that my sp8 pal sent, “365 Knitting Stitches A Year”, as my insperation. I started on Monday July the third, and I have done 8 cloths so far. I am about to start cloth no. 9, so far I am a couple of days ahead of my schedule. I am, however, in a couple of cloth swaps, and am in C4C (see button in sidebar) so stocking up on cloths is a good thing.

I’ll update on dh as soon as I can manage to get that picture to load on blogger.
