I got to go spend a few hours at the LYS yesturday before having to go grocery shopping. While at the yarn shop I was forcefully attacked! Attacked by what?
1, 50 gram ball of Fortissma sock yarn; 3, 50 gram balls of Schachenmayer Nomotta Malva sock yarn; 5 dbl pt needls, size 9; 3, 1oo gram balls of Trekking XXL sock yarn; 2 pre-wound 50 gram “cakes” of some yummy Elsebeth Lavold “Silky Wool” (65% wool, 35% silk) sports weight yarn; and 7 cards of Stahl Socka reinforcing threads.
I tried so hard to fight back, but in the end my attackers won out and somehow managed to follow me home!
Fran the Fabulous, LYS owner, has recently adopted two new fur babies. (Although only the one picture turned out.) She named them “Knit” and “Purl”, and she’s holding Miss Purl in this picture. I am not a poodle person, but these two toy, or are they teacup, poodles are so cute and so loving that they make little poodles seem almost worth having to me…almost.
After the LYS I went to the Super WalMart to do my grocery shopping. I got a honkin huge frozen turkey for Thanksgiving, 18-20 lbs, and other food stuffs. I also got a few little items to put back for swaps, some little craft things to make some stuff with, and various other items. Everyone’s prescriptions have filled for now, and all is well enough in that area.
Erchin has lost the remote control to my tv, the one in the livingroom, and we haven’t been able to find it yet. Luckily for me, dh had a universal remote that already had my tv programed in it. So I do have a remote that I can use untill I/we can locate my remote.
We didn’t have too many trick and treaters the other night. But last year due to the weather we had none. Atleast this year we had some kids come by. I ticked off a few teenagers tho. I gave teens a little bit of candy, while giving the little kids on porch with them a couple of massive handfulls. Hey, the little ones don’t go as far as the big kids can, and the teens have money to have bought their own candy at the store.
Well hopefully all is well with y’all. Take care.
