We are about 90% moved. We have things to haul to the dump, junky furniture and trash etc, and a few more things to bring over to the new place. But we are nearly done.
This is the quilt that I started for my grand daughter before she was born. I finished the quilt top just about 2.5 years ago. I started binding the quilt about 2.5 years ago, but the fabric I was using for the binding shredded so I ended up using the blanket binding that I had bought as “option B” instead. I finished the UFO, which I found while packing stuff to move, last week while relaxing one evening after a day of packing and moving!
I have gone back to working on my Scottish Kilt Hose, which were a KAL for September, but at least I am going to get them done for me before Christmas! My knitting stash has been moved to the new place already, yippie, so I can knit on gift socks soon.
Well I have got to get to laundry, something that I have alot of. I have now been a NON SMOKER for nearly 6 weeks! DH smokes outside at the new place, not because of any concern for me but because he didn’t like the nicotine that had collected on all of his things while at the old place! Whatever it takes I say.
I will do my best to be back within two to three days, but no promises.
